This is a chance to play a vital role in supporting UK Defence by ensuring training areas and ranges are safe, well maintained, and fit for purpose. You’ll be leading a team, managing contractors, and delivering high-quality service that directly supports military training operations. Main Responsibilities Lead and inspire your team, overseeing daily operations including performance, attendance, welfare, and capability Monitor usage and ensure facilities are maintained to the highest standards Deliver essential maintenance tasks across the Defence Training Estate Manage contractors and oversee reactive and planned work to meet customer needs Ensure compliance, conduct risk assessments, and maintain accurate records Promote continuous improvement and environmental best practices Support your team and take on additional tasks to ensure smooth operations The Ideal Candidate Proven line management experience with strong communication skills Knowledge of landscape maintenance and safe working practices Familiarity with workload scheduling and work order processes Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office and bespoke software) Solid understanding of Health & Safety (COSHH, manual handling, IOSH Managing Safely) A full UK driving licence is essential to carry out the duties of this role Why Join Us?
