Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, talented and detail-orientated Marketing Assistant to join our growing team
Based in Busby, to the south of Glasgow, Riverside Music College offers a range of innovative industry-leading commercial, educational and community-led creative arts services.
The ideal candidate will support various marketing initiatives, contributing to the development and execution of marketing strategies. This role requires a blend of creativity and analytical skills, as well as proficiency in various marketing tools and platforms. You will play a vital role in enhancing our brand presence and driving engagement across multiple channels.
Duties
* Assist the Marketing Manager to develop strategic marketing initiatives and campaigns, ensuring alignment with company objectives
* Assist the Marketing Manager to prepare reports using Microsoft Excel and Google Analytics which track campaign performance and ROI
* Manage social media accounts, creating engaging content and monitoring performance metrics
* Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging platforms to ensure social media growth and engagement
* Assist to develop and deliver a social media communications calendar that aligns with business goals
* Assist to create visually appealing marketing materials using Adobe Photoshop
* Update news stories / blog on our websites using WordPress creating compelling copy
* Organise coverage (filming / photography) for all internal and external RMC events where appropriate
* Liaise with current students and Alumni, and the wider RMC network to create valuable content
* Organise and create mail campaigns and assist in maintaining customer lists
* Edit and proofread content to maintain high standards of quality and consistency
* Oversee and maintain marketing permissions in line with GDPR
* Engage with industry partners, artists, and influencers to grow our audience and brand
Experience and Skills
* Strong ideation and creation skills
* Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Previous experience in a marketing role
* Skilled in using Adobe Creative Suite
* Experience with CMS (Wordpress)
* Ability to film, edit and post high quality video content
* Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and KPIs
* Passion for content creation, music and the creative arts
* Knowledge of GDPR regulations
