About the opportunity:
In this key role you will hold responsibility for the ‘on site and delivery' management of designated projects within the Concrete business. You will be a key conduit between Holcim and the Client Project Team– helping us to understand and meet client project requirements and in ensuring a positive, mutually beneficial relationship throughout the course of the project.
There will be a strong focus on ensuring we are best positioned to meet our commitments and obligations to the project, identifying and managing logistical elements of delivery and in proactively resolving any issues.
Further and detailed responsibilities are found in the position description which is available upon request and will include:
3. Leading a culture of zero harm related to the supply of products and services to the designated projects.
4. Ensuring robust analysis and investigation occurs for any incidents on the project.
5. Providing a key Holcim contact for the client on all project related enquiries and assisting in facilitating any requirements.
6. Working with the client's site engineering team to understand the construction schedule and ensuring all concrete pours are adequately forecasted to allow appropriate allocation of resources.
7. Working with the site engineering team to manage any change to pour scheduling and ensuring this is communicated to the Customer Service Centre immediately.
8. Ensuring that our operations teams perform at the highest level of quality for service and product within the scope outlined in the project agreement.
9. Ensuring the team are effectively managing the expectations and risks at all times.
10. Ensuring Concrete Truck Drivers (LOD's and Employees) are providing efficient and competent service to the project.
11. Checking customer (client) satisfaction for quality.
12. Working with technical to lower costs through mix optimisation.
About you:
13. Qualifications in Engineering, Business or related discipline (preferred but not essential).
14. Credible and relevant experience within the concrete industry is highly preferred but consideration will be given to relevant experience in related industry sectors.
15. A high level of commercial acumen.
16. Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills.
17. A clear and proficient communicator.
18. A self-starter.
19. A team player.
20. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications in particular Word and Excel or their Google equivalents.
