Contract Training Consultant – Triple P UK

Triple P – Positive Parenting Program is one of the world's most effective parenting programs, designed to give parents the skills they need to raise confident, healthy children and teenagers and to strengthen family relationships. As part of our continued growth, we have are seeking additional contract Training Consultants to join the Triple P UK team.
The Role
Is responsible for the training and accreditation of practitioners in Triple P programmes (remotely via TEAMS / ZOOM, or in-person) from a variety of disciplines (i.e. early help, health, education and social services). This includes:
* Preparation for all training courses
* Delivery of active skill training programmes, 1-5 days duration - typically 3 consecutive days
* Delivery of one day workshops to help prepare participants for their accreditation process.
* Assess participants' parent consultation skills through the accreditation process.
* Delivery of peer assisted support sessions to practitioners
* Participate with global training initiatives to continue to update skills
* Attendance at quarterly UK trainer peer supervision sessions (held remotely and annually in-person)
* Delivery of clinical support days on specific implementation topics
The Person
· To be considered for this role the following criteria will be considered:
· Essential – ability to travel within the UK and Ireland for in-person events (will include out of hours or weekend travel)
· Post-graduate degree in psychology (e.g., Masters, PhD), preferably clinical or educational (or related field)
· Experience in group training facilitation and/or teaching.
· Experience with online platforms for delivery of training
· Familiarity and experience with Triple P, particularly being an Accredited Triple P Provider, is preferable although not essential
· An ability to work with others and facilitate groups to work effectively together
· The ability to give constructive feedback in a positive, non-judgmental way
