About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experiencedFLT Driverto join a busy waste management site inCardiff. This is a hands-on role that involves forklift operation, waste sorting, and general site duties in an industrial environment.
Youll play an important part in ensuring waste is processed safely, efficiently, and in line with environmental and safety standards.
Main Duties:
1. Sorting and bulking of drum and packaged waste materials, including some hazardous substances
2. Washing empty contaminated containers (e.g. IBCs), and cutting them down when required
3. Preparing pallet loads for disposal including shrink-wrapping and labelling
4. Operating machinery and equipment such as forklifts, pumps, and pressure jet washers
5. Completing all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
