A day in the life of a PAT Tester at phs:
1. Travel to customer sites to carry out Portable Appliance Testing.
2. Complete tests on portable appliances within customer premises.
3. Produce daily results that meet client and external accreditation standards.
4. Represent phs Compliance with positive customer service, being the face of the company.
5. Ensure professional, safe, and timely service delivery on client sites, primarily during normal working hours (40 hours/week), with occasional out-of-hours work depending on client needs.
The ideal candidate for a PAT Tester at phs will have:
1. Full UK manual Driving License for at least 12 months (subject to insurance), with a maximum of 6 points.
2. Flexibility to work outside core 9-5 hours and spend up to 8 hours on-site.
3. C&G 2377 qualification preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
4. The ability to perform manual work for extended periods.
5. Adaptability to different environments and customers daily.
6. Basic IT, numeracy, literacy, and good communication skills.
7. A desire to pursue a career in the electrical industry.
