A brilliant secondary school in Batley is looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and caring Teaching Assistant to join their team, supporting pupils aged 11-16 with behaviour needs, additional learning needs, and general classroom support.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference every day while developing your experience in a supportive school environment.
Although the role will begin on a day-to-day basis, the school has been consistently busy and has a strong track record of offering regular work and even long-term placements for the right person.

What You'll Be Doing Supporting students with behavioural needs, helping them stay engaged and focused Providing SEN support, adapting tasks and offering 1:1 or small-group guidance Assisting teachers in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils Helping maintain a calm, safe classroom atmosphere ?? What We're Looking For Experience working with children or young people in a school or community setting within the last two years (essential) A patient, resilient, and encouraging approach Confidence supporting behaviour and additional needs Someone who can bring energy, empathy, and reliability to the role A genuine passion for helping young people thrive ??
