Are you an experienced Town Planner ready to take the next step in your career? We’re working with a respected national planning and development consultancy with an established reputation for delivering high-quality, commercially astute planning advice across a broad range of sectors. Due to continued growth, their Midlands team is looking to appoint a Senior or Principal Planner to join their supportive and collaborative planning division.
The Opportunity
You’ll be part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team working on a diverse portfolio of projects including residential, mixed-use, and commercial developments. The role offers a genuine opportunity to develop your professional skills while playing a key role in shaping planning strategy and client relationships across the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and deliver a range of planning applications and appeals.
* Provide expert advice to clients across both private and public sectors.
* Lead on projects with autonomy and accountability.
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to the ongoing growth of the Midlands office.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, developers, and landowners.
About You
* MRTPI qualified (or equivalent).
* Strong consultancy or local authority experience, ideally with a focus on development-led planning.
* Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
* A proactive and collaborative approach, with the confidence to lead client interactions.
