We are recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician for a well-established client based in Birmingham.
Package:
* Salary: GBP36,563 per annum plus On-call payment of GBP1950 per annum for being On-call 1 week in 4.
* Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate (time and a half) after 37.5 hours worked.
* Normal hours: 08:00, Monday to Friday.
* 30 minutes travel time each way per day in their own time.

Role Overview:
Carrying out EICRs, PAT Testing, Fire Alarm Inspections, Emergency Lighting Inspections. The work will involve Planned & Reactive Maintenance, Remedial Works, and general installations. The role primarily involves working across Hospitality, Retail, and Leisure clients.
Job Responsibilities:
* Provide Planned and Reactive Electrical Maintenance across multiple sites & sectors.
* Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Repairs, and Installation works on various assets such as Lighting systems, Distribution Boards, Fire & Intruder Alarm systems, Pumps, Motors, Building Management Systems, PAT Testing, HVAC, and EV systems.
* Fault finding and repairs on electrical equipment & systems.
* Carry out alterations, installations, and testing in accordance with specifications and legislation.
* Respond promptly to reactive call requests.
* Provide On-call Service as part of a rota.
* Prepare quotes for installation & repair works, detailing materials and labor.
* Identify non-repairable issues and advise the Contract Manager.
* Travel to various locations as required.
* Follow instructions from Line Manager regarding scope of works.
* Perform tasks according to SLAs.
* Update and monitor the CAFM system.
* Engage with Health and Safety and Learning & Development teams, adhering to site safety regulations.
* Use resources sustainably and recycle where possible.
* Represent the company professionally and positively.
* Perform any other duties within the scope of the role.
Qualifications:
* 18th Edition, NVQ Level 3, AM2, City & Guilds 2391 (essential).
* Inspection & Testing experience (essential).
