We are looking for Care Workers to work with young people at a beautiful site based in Newbury, this is a very rewarding role working term time only, full time and part time roles are available the pay is between £13.41-£14.44 depending on experience. You will provide care and support for pupils with assistance and mobility, personal care, communication and social interaction. You will liaise with the school SENDCO, Learning Support Assistants, Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist to identify and support the writing of personal care plans and procedures. You will oversee the physical and emotional care of the pupils, including but not limited to, consideration of pupil’s health, diet, clothing, hygiene, safety, and emotional welfare, working with other staff where necessary. You will support daily physiotherapy and exercise programs and encourage social communication between peers and participation within shared games and activities.
