About Our Client
Our client is a professional services firm located in central Reading. As a well established organisation, they provide comprehensive legal services to their clients and are looking for a dedicated individual to join their team in the Commercial Property Department.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
3. Prepare correspondence, including dictation
4. Draft transaction documents and prepare final versions using DocuSign
5. Complete transaction forms (e.g., Land Registry, SDLT)
6. Open and close client files and prepare engagement letters
7. Manage diaries and emails for fee earners
8. Handle telephone enquiries professionally
9. Provide general transaction support and ad hoc duties as required
The Successful Applicant
Experience & AttributesEssential:
10. Minimum 1 year of commercial experience as a Secretary, Administrator, or PA in a legal/property environment
11. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage competing priorities
12. Comfortable liaising with clients via phone and email
13. Strong verbal and written communication skills
14. High attention to detail and accuracy
15. Ability to work independently and collaboratively
16. Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using IT systems
17. Excellent keyboard skills
Desirable:
18. Experience working within a property team
19. Familiarity with Land Registry and SDLT processes
