Ground Care Service Technician - (Mobile)
Role overview
Ripon Ground Care, part of the Ripon Group, is a family-owned multibranch agricultural and ground care dealership covering 13 sites within Yorkshire, Teesside, Lincolnshire, and Nottinghamshire. We are responsible for the sale and aftersales support of a wide range of turf machinery and products.
* You will need to demonstrate the ability to perform diagnostics and repairs on turf equipment proficiently while protecting the department's profitability, working both from the depot and at customers' premises.
* Use your knowledge and experience to advise customers on optimization techniques for their machines and products, as well as services offered by Ripon Farm Services and John Deere.
* Understand the manufacturer's customer care process.
* Complete mandatory training to support your product knowledge and to maintain and develop your skills.
* Comply with all Health and Safety legislation, company policies, and procedures to ensure safety for all staff, customers, and visitors.
* Complete all reports and administrative tasks required for work assignments on time.
* Perform pre-delivery setup on new or used equipment and support service specialists when required.
The role requires professionalism and active promotion of Ripon Farm Services with positivity and integrity. Knowledge of agricultural equipment is preferred but not mandatory, as full training will be provided. A valid driving license is required due to the need to operate company vehicles and agricultural equipment.
Hours of work
Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
