We currently have 2 opportunities for Site Services Shift Engineers in the Kettering Engineering team.
The job is based at the Kettering Production Plant, which produces plant-based milk alternatives. It is within the Maintenance department. The Site Services department manages and controls all utilities at the plant.
The role operates on a 12-hour shift pattern of days and nights, which may be subject to change with prior notice.
The successful candidate will be involved in managing utilities (air compressors, refrigeration, boilers, cooling towers, air handling units, water treatment), waste water treatment and reuse systems, and general site services. Candidates should demonstrate at least 3 years of relevant experience. Training will be provided through mentoring and formal methods.
About You
To succeed, you should have:
* Experience in a similar environment, particularly with steam boilers at 15 bar, air compressors, and water treatment plants.
* Experience managing wastewater treatment and waste management, with a focus on recycling and cost reduction.
* Qualifications such as City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in engineering or maintenance.
* Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
* Understanding of safe working practices.
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar environment.
* Forklift certification (preferred).
* Good physical health, as the role involves walking, climbing, and lifting.
