About the role:
We're seeking a motivated Assistant Retail Manager to join our enthusiastic and highly productive retail management team in our Briscoes Cambridge store. We're looking for a leader that lives and breathes striving for customer excellence!
This is a full time role, working 40 hours a week from Sunday to Thursday. The successful candidate will start with us in July.

Key responsibilities will include:
4. Coaching and mentoring team members to meet and exceed targets
5. Being accountable for the profitability of the store/s within the Profit Centre (PC)
6. Making sure administrative and audit processes are followed
7. Maintaining the integrity of inventory
8. Making sure our stores are a safe environment for our people and customers through actively promoting our "Safe Home Every Day" framework
Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
9. Relevant retail experience, ideally in a big-box retail setting
10. Prior experience of managing staff
11. Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and sales skills
12. A high level of business acumen and excellent communication skills
13. The ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated, and work as a team player
14. Flexibility to work rostered shifts including weekends
