Job summary
We are looking to appoint a Trust StR Higher anaesthetist to our large, cohesive, and forward-looking department. This post is designed to provide the tertiary training required for the Portfolio Pathway (CESR), including cardiothoracics and neuro, but can be flexed to suit the correct applicant. It is envisaged that this post will have access to the same training and educational support as Deanery appointed trainees and similar study leave. On call duties maybe in Obstetrics, ICM, Cardiac ICM and General theatres.

Main duties of the job
Trust StR Higher Doctor in General and Neuroanaesthesia and ICM
Candidates must have completed Stage 1 of the RCoA curriculum and will undertake the duties expected of an ST4+ trainee at post commencement. This post is envisaged to be useful to a doctor aiming for CESR or awaiting Specialist Training appointment in 2023. Participation in the trainee on call rota relevant to training grade is essential. Further career development and training will be flexible, and interests will be encouraged by the Department.

1. Full GMC registration
