Accounts Assistant - TAX
3‑month contract | Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) - Swindon
Start: End of April / Early May
We are currently supporting a business with the appointment of an experienced Temporary Tax / Finance Accountant for an initial 3‑month contract, starting at the end of April or early May.
This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days working from home in Swindon.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Preparation and submission of VAT returns
2. Posting monthly intercompany recharge journals using Microsoft Dynamics AX
3. Collating data and submitting ONS returns
4. P11D preparation and submissions
5. Supporting with corporation tax queries and preparing relevant data
6. Assisting with ad hoc external tax reporting as required
About you:
7. Proven experience in a tax-focused finance role (VAT, P11Ds, corporation tax exposure)
8. Confident using Dynamics AX (or similar ERP systems)
9. Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
10. Comfortable working in a hybrid, short-term contract environment
This role would suit someone immediately available or coming to the end of a contract who is looking for a hands-on, varied assignment within a supportive finance team.
