Fixed Term/Secondment Post (10 months) until 31st March 2026
An opportunity has arisen for a part time Administrative Assistant to join the
Tayside Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Technology Services Department based in Ninewells Hospital. This post, which is a fixed term/secondment contract, will provide secretarial and administrative support for the Heads of Services and Operational Manager for the Orthotics, Prosthetics and Assisted Technology Services. The main tasks include typing of correspondence, data input, minute taking and diaries.
Attention to detail is essential as are good literacy and numeracy skills.
You should be proficient in using Microsoft packages and have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and work to tight deadlines. The ability to work within a team environment is essential.
Previous experience in an NHS administrative/clerical environment or equivalent would be advantageous.
Written approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for this secondment. You will be required to bring this if shortlisted for interview.
