Electrical Supervisor role at Emtec Group

Location: Glasgow & Central Belt
Emtec Building Services, a nationwide M&E contractor with a strong in-house workforce, is growing its delivery teams to support a pipeline of projects across Scotland. We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join and lead on various projects. This is a hands-on, site-based role where you’ll be trusted to lead, coordinate and deliver with the backing of a supportive, experienced business.
The Role
As an Electrical Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the successful day-to-day delivery of electrical works on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
Key responsibilities
* Leading the delivery of projects from start through to completion.
* Supervising and coordinating on-site operatives and subcontractors.
* Ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with programme and budget.
* Upholding all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards at all times.
* Attending and contributing to client, consultant, and main contractor meetings.
* Delivering site inductions, toolbox talks and regular quality and safety inspections.
* Supporting workforce planning and allocation of resources on site.
* Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and site teams.
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience supervising electrical works on construction projects, ideally within an M&E contracting environment.
* Confident working independently, managing priorities, and meeting tight deadlines.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Practical problem-solver with sound decision-making ability.
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office packages.
* SSSTS Health & Safety qualification (essential).
* Current IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
* Valid SJIB Grading Card.
