The Role
Family Help Team Manager within our newly established Family Help Service.
To manage and maintain oversight of a Locality-based Family Help team, including direct line management of staff.
To provide support and coordinate the Early Help Access Point to ensure clear direction for early help processes across the borough; supporting referrals that require targeted early help and efficiently navigating these cases through the early help pathways to ensure children, young people, and families receive the right level of support in a timely manner.
The post holder will manage services and resources across a team, ensuring Family Hub and targeted intervention programme plans are coordinated and meet community needs.

Applicants should meet the following requirements:
* DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
* Social Work England registration
* Enhanced and in-date DBS certificate
* Excellent communication skills and decision-making ability based on available information
* Ability to work independently and within/multidisciplinary teams
* Knowledge of service needs
* Competent IT skills and ability to navigate electronic systems
* Ability to write clear, concise, and robust assessment reports/files
* Flexible approach to work and working hours when needed
