Overview
A high‑growth, technology‑led organisation entering its next phase of expansion is seeking an exceptional Chief Marketing Officer to join its C‑suite.
The business is preparing for further scale and strategic investment and requires a commercially focused, analytically driven marketing leader to translate insight into growth.
This role is for a data‑literate CMO who understands how to connect marketing performance directly to commercial outcomes – driving qualified lead generation, customer conversion, and product innovation through evidence‑based decision‑making.
Expect to lead a dynamic marketing team that serves as the strategic growth engine, not a support function.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and execution of a commercially accountable marketing strategy focused on measurable growth, lead generation, and conversion.
* Drive data‑driven marketing operations that directly inform and influence revenue performance.
* Integrate analytics, segmentation, and performance dashboards to enhance decision‑making and forecast accuracy.
* Partner with the C‑suite to shape product and market strategies, using data and insight to identify emerging opportunities.
* Leverage marketing intelligence to support new product development, innovation, and go‑to‑market execution.
* Oversee digital channels, paid and organic campaigns, content, and partnerships – ensuring marketing spend delivers clear ROI.
* Build a high‑performing marketing function combining creativity with analytical precision.
* Develop and mentor senior marketers to foster commercial acumen and continuous improvement.
* Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure alignment between Marketing, Sales, and Product functions.
* Support future readiness and scalability as the business positions for further investment and potential private‑equity engagement.
Candidate Profile
* Degree educated (minimum 2:1), ideally in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related discipline; Master’s advantageous.
* Proven success leading marketing strategy and performance in high‑growth, complex organisations.
* Exceptional command of data analytics, campaign optimisation, and marketing automation to drive lead generation and conversion.
* Experience shaping commercial marketing strategies that scale effectively in technology or digital environments.
* Track record of supporting new product launches and innovation through insight‑led marketing strategy.
* Strong background in performance marketing, customer segmentation, and market insight.
* Strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach and evidence of delivering measurable impact.
* Experience working in or alongside investment‑backed or high‑growth environments desirable.
* Gravitas, analytical strength, and communication skill to operate credibly at Board level.
The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to redefine marketing’s role within a high‑growth, innovation‑led organisation. The successful candidate will bring strategic discipline, creativity, and commercial acumen – connecting marketing performance directly to business growth and innovation outcomes.
