Description Senior Youth Worker Fixed Term Contract (23 Months) JNC 22 - 25 - £38,575 - £41,755 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5. hours per week Birmingham Youth Service is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Youth Worker to lead delivery at the Young Futures Hub, a flagship youth‑led space designed to support young people to thrive, feel safe, and access positive future pathways. This is a Fixed Term Contract for 23 months. This is a key leadership role for someone who is motivated to make a real difference for young people and play a central role in delivering the Government’s new Youth Strategy, supporting young people aged 10–18 (up to 25 for SEND) to improve wellbeing, access opportunities and progress positively. Responsibilities will include day‑to‑day management, delivery, and ongoing development of high‑quality youth work that is inclusive, innovative, and rooted in strong relationships with young people Applicants must hold a recognised JNC youth work qualification, have significant front‑line youth work experience, experience of supervising staff, and strong safeguarding knowledge.
