Overview
The thriving Health Care team within a busy department offering Health, Care, Science and Sport is seeking a part-time Health Care Lecturer. The role focuses on teaching primarily on the T Level Health Programmes and the new HTQ Level 4/5 Healthcare Professions' Support Programmes. The successful candidate will contribute to supporting and designing new curricula for 16–18 and Adult Learning Programmes, as well as teaching current practical clinical skills. The working week for this role is 18.5 hours.
Responsibilities
* Teach primarily on the T Level Health Programmes and the HTQ Level 4/5 Healthcare Professions\' Support Programmes.
* Contribute to the support and design of new curricula for 16–18 and Adult Learning Programmes.
* Deliver high-quality, engaging, and dynamic lessons that support learners effectively, including practical clinical skills.
Qualifications and Requirements
* A degree in Health, Nursing or an appropriate Healthcare profession and practical experience in current clinical skills.
* A Level 5 teaching qualification.
* A proven track record of excellence in teaching and learning practices.
* The ability to prepare, plan, and deliver high-quality, engaging, and dynamic lessons that support learners effectively.
* Up-to-date subject knowledge and industry experience; expertise in curriculum design and delivery would be highly advantageous.
