A fast moving, reputable Fashion / Accessories Brand are recruiting for a creative, data savvy, culture obsessed Chief Marketing Officer with a passion for driving growth and leading teams
You will be a visionary with a deep understanding of traditional and innovative marketing strategies and a proven track record of creating campaigns and initiatives that drive and increase revenue across the store portfolio.
Reporting to the CEO and as a key member of the management team, you will be the force behind our brand voice, shaping how we connect with our Gen Z and A consumer.You will be responsible for shaping and delivering the marketing strategy and elevating the Brand in a highly competitive market.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
:Strategic Planning:
• Develop & lead company marketing strategy with a clear vision based on tangible customer insights and market knowledge.
• Determine comprehensive Marketing Plans that embrace clearly defined brand, category, product and sales objectives
• Develop annual budget proposals in accordance with Marketing Plans. Efficiently controlling and managing all spend and monitoring and reporting on a monthly basis.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on Company wide planning, forecasting and budgeting.
Customer Insights
• Manage the company research agenda clearly prioritising topics to add insight and value. Commissioning market research and evaluate findings, providing deliverable insights to enhance internal thinking and understanding within the business
• Establish Data Capture protocols for the business and execute plans to develop customer insights in order to adapt brand messages and evolve brand / business strategies
• Be the consumer and marketing expert knowing and anticipating trends; staying connected to the wants and aspirations of our target consumer
• Further help the Brand develop their customer centric culture. Ensuring a persistent focus on the customer; developing in-depth data analytics for customer insight and strategies
Business Management:
• Elevate the brand perception and comprehension within key target audiences
• Develop and implement initiatives to build, promote and maximise exposure of the brand including communicating brand strategies. / vision in order to deliver against business objectives
• Lead, inspire & motivate the Marketing team; focusing on development, coaching and mentoring
• Champion the importance of building and maintaining a customer focused communication strategy
Brand Management:
• Continue to develop and strengthen the Brand's unique and compelling voice to build brand awareness, relevance and enhance reputation among target audience
• Ensure all marketing activities deliver against brand strategy
• Ensure brand standards are maintained and represent "best in class" across all channels
• Build an appropriate team & agency network to facilitate needs of the Marketing department
• Establish a clear brand proposition; developing the brand to exceed customer expectations, working with all relevant parties to ensure that it does.
EXPERIENCE:
• 8-10 years working in Marketing with at least 3-5 years in a Senior Leadership position
• Experience with businesses associated with similar core (youthful) target audience; ideally with a deep understanding and trading experience within fashion / lifestyle
• Experience of working with customer databases, including knowledge of how to build them and how to analyse the data and segment target market
• Ability to understand big data sources and analysis tools, where it comes from and how it can be used to benefit the business and understand customer needs
• Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product and service management along with a demonstrated track record of success and performance
• Ability to understand complex business issues, find creative ways to solve problems and make sound decisions for the benefit of the brand
• Be able to develop and maintain relationships at all levels, both internally & externally with a proven ability to influence
• Ability to understand changing market dynamics, translating them into actionable strategies to achieve company objectives
• Experience of working within multi-channel businesses
The company offer an excellent salary / benefit package including bonus and car allowance - This is a hybrid role based in Central London but some travel is required
