Enterprise Digital Experiences (EDX) is responsible for the product management of American Express’ proprietary digital products – Amex Mobile App, Web, Identity, Digital Commerce & Customer Personalisation.

As a team we are focused on driving Cardmember engagement, satisfaction, and revenue, through a combination of best-in-class user experience and compelling features and functionality. We have a global remit and, with our partners across the Enterprise, we bring the best of American Express’ payment and payment-related services to life through our digital experiences.

The Customer Personalization Team is amongst the core team within EDX, focused on integrating intelligence and value into customer channels, with the aim of improving customer satisfaction, driving revenue contribution, and unlocking efficiency.

The Senior Associate, Digital Product Management will play a key role in supporting the evolution of key personalisation products, accelerating growth and embedding personalisation across the Enterprise. If that fits your career vision, we'd love to hear from you.

How will you make an impact in this role?

1. Work directly with teams including (but not limited to) Product, Technology and Analytics within an agile environment to break down requirements into user stories and own feature delivery end-to-end.
2. Actively participate (and at times, lead) pre-launch testing and post-launch validation with key partners across Marketing, Product Operations, Technology, and Analytics (plus other teams where relevant)
3. Partner with Analytics to assess the value of new features and conduct strategic analysis to recommend enhancements to our capability roadmap. Also, critically evaluate existing features and functionality.
4. Assist with the creation of clear and compelling presentations for executive audiences and partners.
5. Support workstreams to continuously evolve and improve our underlying platforms.

Minimum Qualifications:

6. Experience in product development or product management, including Agile software development and tools like JIRA, Rally, Mural, or InVision.

7. Understanding of roadmapping, backlog management, story writing, and testing.

8. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

9. Strong technical aptitude and ability to grasp complex processes quickly.

10. Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

11. Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-changing environments and able to adapt quickly.

12. Skilled at analysing data from multiple sources to assess product performance and make informed recommendations.

13. Detail-oriented with strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel for creating impactful presentations and analyses.

14. Self-motivated, proactive, and accountable, with the ability to work independently across time zones.

15. Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business, product development, digital marketing, systems management, or a related field) or equivalent experience.
