Key Responsibilities
* Brand plans & campaign planning – work with Product Managers representing our French agencies to produce sales and marketing plans that drive sales and build awareness.
* With a focus on French agencies, as part of our core portfolio, but also product marketing responsibility for Greece, Austria, Germany, Hungary and Bulgaria
* Launch new products, providing accurate & timely information to sales teams and customers.
* Work closely with digital content team to provide a good flow of product and producer-based activity, news and reviews for the website and social media channels
* Manage producer visits and events in UK – work with sales channels to ensure all visits are well planned and drive sales
* Liaison with stakeholders on trips and visits to French agency producers
* Help deliver country and regional specific tastings, with Events Manager
* Work with external PR agencies where required for producer activity. This may be for press releases, sampling or agency-specific events
* Develop and update all product Information for French agency wines.
* Maintain accurate product and producer information on all digital sharing platforms – internal & external
* For traceability purposes, liaison with product and technical teams to ensure product data is input into relevant systems (eg Bevica, Bottlebooks) and input in a timely manner.
* Photography and Assets – maintain bottle shots, producer photography, and other assets on all digital sharing platforms – internal & external
* New Vintage tastings and wine updates – with Product Managers, taste through and help write accurate tasting notes, checking relevant product data.
* Competition entries – with stakeholders, identify key wines to be entered. Complete entries for relevant competitions. Communicate results internally and externally
* Assist preparations for the various sales channel tasting events, with Sales teams and Events Manager and attend as required
* Stockists Information – provide as requested by journalists or producers
Qualities
You should have a genuine passion for wine with a good depth of product knowledge. WSET Dip or Level 3 preferred. Previous experience within sales, marketing or retail would be beneficial.
You will be a skilled communicator, both written and verbal, with a clear and convincing style that brings people with you both across the business and the trade.
You possess strong planning and admin skills with great attention to detail.
An approachable people person, you encourage and listen to the ideas of others to build genuinely collaborative relationships with shared goals.
You will be highly organised and possess strong admin skills. Some knowledge or experience of: Adobe, Bevica or Bottlebooks would be beneficial.
Any experience of copywriting would be useful.
As the role will involve communicating with overseas producers, language skills may also be of benefit
