Reporting to: Supply Chain Manager

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Yeadon, Leeds LS19 7BD (office based)

Working hours: 8:30am – 5pm (40 hours/pw) Monday – Friday

Salary: £32000/per annum + benefits

We Seal are the largest international manufacturer of bag sealing solutions. Established in 1979 and now supplying to 95% of the UK’s bread market, We Seal design and engineer innovative sealing machines along with reliable tapes and seals.

Prime objectives of the position

This is a full-time role with a strong focus on Supply Chain support and general office support as well as customer contact, via phone and email. Strong IT and numeracy skills, high levels of professionalism, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and flexible attitude are a minimum requirement.

Role requirements:

1.\tMust have experience processing both domestic and international orders for a manufacturing business ensuring all paperwork requirements are correct, arranging shipments, monitoring deliveries, and updating customers on transit times and of any delays

2.\tGood understanding of international handling of goods in a manufacturing context, duty fees, post Brexit rules on shipping and dealing with relevant paperwork, etc.

3.\tExperience working in a manufacturing environment using systems and processes to ensure inventory accuracy and that there is an adequate supply of stock to the business

4.\tProduce relevant reports to ensure sufficient and accurate stock

5.\tUpdating Production schedule, planning and inputting jobs on spooler database

6.\tReview and monitor Customer Orders inbox, answering customer queries and processing customer orders in a timely manner

7.\tRaise and monitor purchase orders to ensure that all parts are delivered on time and in full

8.\tLiaise with warehouse and other internal departments regarding shipments, purchasing and quality matters

9.\tEnsure all deliveries for the Workshop are within specification and are receipted in a timely manner, control of any parts delivered that require Further Work being by using existing processes in place

10.\tProviding customer advice and support to assist in ordering of the correct spare parts.

11.\tAssist and deputise for the Supply Chain Manager as and when required.

12.\tAnswering and directing incoming phone calls and forwarding messages while maintaining professional attitude at all times, replying to emails in an organised, effective and timely manner

13.\tConfident accessing and using appropriate IT systems including Microsoft Office package, especially Excel, Sage 50 and Warehouse Management System

14.\tAdhering to all company policies and procedures, particularly with regards to health and safety, identifying areas for improvement to the Department Manager.

•\tUnderstanding of Environmental Management policies

•\t3+ years experience working in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, ideally post Brexit

•\tPrevious business/procurement/supply chain experience or qualifications
