Global Crisis Management (GCM), an organization within Global Security (GS), establishes and oversees the crisis management process to enable the organization to assess and respond to crises, minimize disruptions, escalate appropriately, and return to business-as-usual (BAU) swiftly and efficiently.
GCM provides 24/7 incident monitoring that could impact the firm's operations and collaborates with Resiliency, Real Estate, Human Resources, and Technology groups to respond to events affecting employees, clients, and customers.
As a Crisis Management and GSOC Lead within the Global Security Team, you will be responsible for the regional operational and tactical delivery of Global Security's core product lines: Global Crisis Management and Global Security Operations Centres (GSOCs).
Reporting to the Head of EMEA Security and Chief Administrative Officer, you will ensure global consistency, oversee governance, and lead continuous improvement across GCM and GSOC.
Job Responsibilities
1. Deliver operational aspects of GSOC and GCM processes across all EMEA entities, ensuring consistency, timeliness, and quality.
2. Lead GCM and GSOC teams in the EMEA region to drive strategic objectives and refine operational delivery.
3. Build and sustain relationships with key partners and stakeholders involved with GCM and GSOC.
4. Partner with the EMEA Regional Crisis Management Team (RCMT) to support global security leadership.
5. Develop standards, procedures, and job aids related to GCM and GSOC outputs.
6. Drive technology integration and process streamlining to enhance service delivery.
7. Promote continuous improvement and standardization of global crisis management, including controls, governance, KPIs, and QA processes.
8. Oversee examinations and responses to crisis management inquiries.
9. Manage financial and budgetary responsibilities related to GCM and GSOC programs.
10. Implement measures and metrics to assess GCM and GSOC risks and readiness.
11. Manage third-party, vendor, and outsourced relationships supporting GCM and GSOC.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
1. Extensive experience in crisis management and security operations center management or similar domains.
2. Proven track record delivering large-scale crisis management programs in global organizations.
3. Post-graduate qualifications or certifications in risk, crisis, or disaster management.
4. Security-related certifications (e.g., Physical Security Professional, Certified Protection Professional).
5. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to define and communicate strategic direction.
6. Experience managing profit and loss, budgets, and headcount.
7. Ability to develop solutions aligned with stakeholder needs and improve processes.
8. Market knowledge and influence to drive value-added solutions and stakeholder engagement.
9. Balance stakeholder requirements with budgetary and control frameworks.
10. Understanding of role-related risks and lessons learned to proactively manage broader risks.
11. Ability to analyze and resolve regulatory issues promptly and sustainably.
