The Packaging Data Steward and Owner will work within Packaging Operations and with the wider network including internal and external manufacturing sites, providing subject matter expertise and data stewardship and ownership to our packaging data. The Packaging Data Steward and Owner will hold specialist knowledge and single point of authority to define, implement and enforce business rules and data standards that impact core business processes. This role will require close partnering with other data and process owners such as ERP and Code Orange.
In this role you will…
* Steward packaging data, identifying and addressing particular data issues or gaps.
* Have overall accountability for the Packaging Data Fields and their contents.
* Defines Data Quality Standards and Rules for packaging data fields and make proposals for ratification by process and system owners.
* Effectively influences key stakeholders and work with a network of Coordinating and Local Data Stewards and Owners to embed a culture of Data Quality and drive business change centered on effective Data Management.
* Act as authoritative expert for packaging data.
* Be the face of Packaging Data best practice, utilising communities of practice to share and drive best data practice.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
* HNC or equivalent in Pack Technology, Supply Chain Logistics, Data management.
* Significant experience in a packaging technology or other similar packaging production role in a related / similar industry encompassing pharmaceutical, consumer health and vaccines product packaging requirements.
* First class analytical skills for the diagnosis, resolution and management of operating problems, and to identify and exploit continuous improvement opportunities.
* Detailed understanding of data management and/or quality assurance processes.
* An understanding of the systems development cycle, supporting documentation, change control and validation processes.
