An Electrician / Electrical Technician with ability to undertake their own Electrical Test and Inspection of electrical installations is required to join a growing team giving industrial electrical installation, electrical maintenance support to many leading food, drink, pharmaceutical manufacturers in this region. Look on supermarket shelves, and you'll see the names of the companies you'll be working with.
You'll be given a company van to go to various customer sites in Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire to perform your electrical, test, inspection work. You'll be paid for travelling to site, you'll work days only, 40 hours a week, and then higher rate overtime is available after 40 hours too.
You'll be responsible for performing electrical tests on the site- power, lighting, control panels, fixed wiring, switchgear, general electrical installations, and reporting where improvements / new electrical installations need to be done on the site.
An electrician with 18th edition IEE wiring regulations certificates, and C&G 2391 OR2394, 2395 Electrical Test and Inspectioncertificates is required.
You'll be working DAYS only,40 hours perweek, but higher rate paid overtime is also available, plus 33 days holiday, pension, healthcare, and a wider range of benefits, working in an award winning, growing engineering company.
