About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join a growing team and help drive a strong, positive safety culture across the organisation.
This is a hands-on role with significant visibility across the business — ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, coaching others, and influencing how safety is lived every day.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Acting as a trusted H&S subject-matter expert to managers and colleagues across all departments
* Carrying out safety visits across offices, development sites and community settings — offering practical guidance, identifying improvements, and promoting good practice.
* Coaching managers to build visible safety leadership, embedding a positive and proactive safety mindset.
* Supporting the incident management process, including reporting, root-cause analysis, identifying learnings and driving corrective actions.
* Delivering H&S training to colleagues, including site-specific visitor training for development teams.
* Reviewing contractor and development-partner performance, identifying trends and advising on improvement actions.
* Providing guidance on the application of relevant regulations (including CDM for development projects).
* Advising managers on hazard identification, risk assessments and appropriate control measures.
* Supporting workplace colleagues with compliance inspections, audits and DSE assessments.
What We’re Looking For
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
* Strong communication, coaching and relationship-building skills.
* Analytical thinker with an ability to assess risk and offer practical solutions.
* Comfortable travelling across a wide geographical area as part of the role.
