NHS 24 will shortly be recruiting for our talent pipeline for future Clinical Supervisor opportunities and is inviting expressions of interest from experienced, NMC‑registered, adult nurses who are passionate about delivering high‑quality clinical supervision within our telehealth service. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the role, explore development pathways, and position yourself for upcoming opportunities within NHS 24.

Clinical Supervisor – Band 6 Nurse Practitioner

Who are we looking for?
7. You will be registered as an Adult nurse on Part 1 of the NMC register
8. You will possess excellent clinical decision-making skills, with the ability to provide continuous clinical supervision, engagement, and leadership remotely
9. Extensive post registration experience, preferably within an acute or primary care setting, with a broad range of knowledge across a number of specialties
10. Critical decision-making skills
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
12. Self-disciplined with excellent time management
Our Enhanced Salary Package
NHS 24 offers a total reward package, with a permanent contract on Band 6 £41,608 - £50,702* (pro rata for part-time hours). Placement on salary scale is dependent on confirmation of previous relevant NHS service.
Competitive salary enhancements for working unsocial hours are in addition to the above basic starting salary of £41,608, this means that the following hourly rates would be applicable -
13. Basic Hourly Rate of £21.57
14. Saturday / After 8pm Weekday Hourly Rate of £32.34
15. Sunday / Public Holiday Hourly Rate of £43.13
*Placement on salary scale is dependent on confirmation of previous relevant NHS service. NHS 24 shift patterns command an average uplift of 33% in addition to the basic salary shown. Dependent on individual shift patterns, this information is indicative only, and cannot be taken as guaranteed.
