Residential Child Care Worker
Salary £28,142 - £32,061 per annum. Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week. Central Lancashire – Morecambe and Lancaster.

Our Children's Residential Service are expanding with the introduction of new Children's Homes and changes to existing homes across the County. This means that we have a number of exciting opportunities for passionate, dedicated individuals to join us as Residential Child Care Workers at homes based in Morecambe and Lancaster.
About The Role
As a Residential Child Care Worker, you would work from a children's home where children and young people aged between 11 and 17 years live. Residential Child Care Workers eat and sleep at the home with the children and undertake basic household tasks – cleaning, cooking, shopping. The role involves working on a rota basis, covering a mix of days, evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts.
You will listen and engage children in 1:1 work around feelings, emotions and behaviours, and link with other professionals – such as social workers, schools, police, and health workers – to ensure their needs are met.
