Job Title: Part‑Time Front of House Team Member
Location: Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park
Hours: Part‑Time (Approximately 2–3 days per week, between 9:30am – 5:00pm depending on time of year)
About the Role
Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park is a friendly, family‑focused children’s farm attraction dedicated to creating memorable days out for our visitors. We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and customer‑focused Part‑Time Front of House Team Member to join our café team. This is a varied, fast paced role which is hands‑on where you will be the face of our food and drink service, helping create a welcoming, clean, and enjoyable environment for families visiting the farm.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and serving hot drinks including tea, coffee, and other beverages
* Serving cakes, snacks, and refreshments to customers
* Serving hot food from our counter safely and efficiently
* Clearing customer tables promptly and maintaining a tidy dining area
* Assisting with washing up and keeping kitchen areas clean and organised
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout front of house areas
* Following all food hygiene and health & safety procedures
* Supporting the team to ensure smooth daily operations
* Providing friendly, helpful, and professional customer service at all times
What We're Looking For
* Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable manner
* Confidence when dealing with customers in a busy environment
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
* Good attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards
* Reliable, punctual, and flexible with a positive attitude
* Previous café, hospitality, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
Working Hours
* Approximately 2–3 days per week
* Shifts between 9:30am and 5:00pm, depending on the time of year
* Must be available to work at least one weekend day
* Additional hours available during school holidays
* Flexibility to provide holiday and sickness cover when required
