Beresford Contracting Ltd. are looking to recruit Civil/Groundworker site operatives of various levels to join their current work force, covering projects for a number of high profile clients to include Tarmac, Nestle, Chatsworth Estates, and other valued clients. Mainly around Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire carrying out Civil Engineering and Groundworks projects.
The applicant must have good experience of all aspects of Construction and Groundworks including general excavations, drainage, kerbing, insitu concrete, steel fixing, fencing and all aspects of reinstatement including hand lay tarmacing.
You will be part of a 2 or 3 man gang responsible for carrying out jobs to a high standard within the allocated time frame at various locations throughout the above shires.
The post is a full time position (circa 45 hours per week) days Monday to Friday and occasional weekends when required.
You will report directly to the Senior Contracts Manager and will be in direct contact with all clients on a day to day basis; an understanding of the importance of customer service is therefore essential. Due to the variety of the works you must be willing to travel as part of their duties and a company Vehicle will be provided for that purpose.
Qualifications:
* CSCS card Holder
* CPCS Excavator, Dumper, Roller
* Confined Spaces
* Clean UK Driving Licence
* References are required.
* Street Works qualification would be advantageous.
