An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Structural Engineer with a minimum of two years’ post-graduate consultancy experience to join their growing Structural Engineering team in Hemel Hempstead.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
Producing structural designs in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
Carrying out structural analysis using industry-standard software including Tekla and TEDDS
Assisting with project coordination and technical delivery
Collaborating with architects, contractors, clients, and internal teams
Attending meetings and supporting project communication with stakeholders
Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications
Supporting innovative and practical engineering solutions
Working towards Chartership with structured support and mentorship
Candidate Requirements
Applicants should possess:
Degree qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering
Minimum 2 years’ experience within a structural engineering consultancy
Experience designing with common building materials
Understanding of geotechnical and foundation design principles
Proficiency in structural design software
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
A proactive attitude and desire for continued technical development
Full UK driving licence
