The post holder will work collaboratively with family/carers and all agencies involved in the child's care, encompassing all private and public sectors.
They will support the specialist OT/PT community therapy team and be an effective team member while working autonomously.
The role involves providing Occupational Therapy to children and young people aged 0-19 in various settings, such as nurseries, mainstream, and special schools.
Starting with NELFT
New starters will join on the first Monday of each month and undergo a comprehensive induction process, including mandatory training, systems training, and equipment allocation, held at our head office in Rainham, Essex. This process includes opportunities to meet the executive team, senior managers, and attend sessions on engagement, health, wellbeing, and key processes.
Probationary Period
This position is subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt unless they are currently partway through a probation or are bank staff.
High Cost Area Supplement - Outer London
This role attracts a 15% supplement of the basic salary, with a minimum of £4,714 and a maximum of £5,941 per annum pro rata.
