Salary: £23,651 - £25,147 per year

Contract Type: Temporary

Position Type: Full Time

Hours: 35 hours per week

Vacancy Information

Hourly rate of pay: £12.96 - £13.78

Duration: Temporary for 12 months.

Working Days and Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00-17:00. Flexi-time is applicable, with flexible start and finish times. To start as soon as possible.

Home / Hybrid Working Consideration

Home or hybrid arrangements can be discussed during interview. All applicants must reside in the UK and be prepared to attend Council offices as required.

The role involves providing guidance and administrative support related to recruitment and pre-employment checks within the Performance and Business Support Team in Human Resources, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Job Requirements

Relevant Qualifications
Higher Grade, NC, or SVQ Level 2 in Office/Business Administration, Information Management, or equivalent, or demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience.

Level 1 Disclosure Clearance
This position requires Level 1 Disclosure Clearance to access the Public Sector Network. The Council will facilitate the Police Act Disclosure application; receipt of the certificate is a condition of employment.

Additional Note:
Candidates who have spent over 3 months working or living outside the UK in the past 5 years must provide an overseas criminal record check. Details are available on GOV.UK.
