What will your role look like?
As Senior Environmental Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of complex environmental water improvement projects, with a particular focus on the Water Environment Fund (WEF) portfolio. You will help create sustainable, greener places that deliver long-lasting environmental and social benefits across Scotland.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading client-side management of WEF and other environmental projects from feasibility to delivery
* Overseeing procurement and contract management (NEC4, PCS compliance)
* Managing project risks, quality, budgets, and schedules throughout the lifecycle
* Coordinating design and technical inputs from consultants, contractors, and partners
* Providing accurate progress, financial, and risk reporting
* Building strong relationships with SEPA, local authorities, funders, communities, and stakeholders
* Supporting Project Managers and Officers in project delivery
* Championing best practice and continuous improvement
