Job Title: Facilities Coordinator
Location: Skelmersdale
Pay Rate: £12.96 per hour
Working Hours:
* Monday Thursday: 07:50am 4:45pm
* Friday: 07:50am 12:10pm
Day shifts only.
Benefits: 33 days annual leave after 12 weeks, pension, free car parking, the opportunity to work for a global company.

Role Overview
We are recruiting for a practical and reliable Facilities Coordinator to support the upkeep and general maintenance of a busy site. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys varied duties and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting site operations through waste management, housekeeping, and general facilities support tasks.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain overall site cleanliness and presentation, both internally and externally.
* Empty bins and manage site waste in accordance with procedures.
* Bale cardboard and plastic materials for recycling.
* Load and unload materials where required.
* Operate floor cleaning equipment.
* Carry out general housekeeping duties including brushing and tidying work areas.
* Perform outdoor maintenance tasks such as weeding and clearing leaves.
* Support ad hoc facilities tasks including:
o Moving office furniture
o Disposing of redundant stock or equipment
o Basic painting and general upkeep work
* Assist with any additional site-related duties as required.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
* Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail.
* Reliable and proactive work ethic.
* Ability to carry out manual handling tasks.
* Flexible attitude towards a varied workload.
Desirable:
* FLT (Forklift Truck) licence highly advantageous, as this will be used when baling materials and loading/unloading vehicles.
Compliance Requirements
* Mandatory identity checks will be conducted.
* Successful candidates must pass a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check.
