Reed Business Support are excited to be working with local insurance provider in their search for a Technical Claims Handler! Based in Sheffield, this is an ideal opportunity for someone with a good technical background with time served as a motor technician or mechanic who may be looking at getting stuck into a more office-based environment.

* Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday – 9:00am to 5:00pm

About the role:
* Handling inbound enquiries from customers regarding potential claims
* Directing them to a repairer where appropriate
* Assisting repairers with our claims process
* Authorising valid repairs
* Processing invoices for payment of valid claims
* Handle claims on policies speaking to customers and clients in order to process a claim and reach a settlement
About you:
* An adaptable and positive attitude
* Ready to undertake a new challenge working in a busy office
* Previous experience within the motor industry is essential for Technical Claims Handlers
* Experience providing a positive customer experience
* Proficient in MS Office software
