Preferred salary range up to £65,000 plus up to 25% commission quarterly paid and uncapped. Plus usual benefits, life, health, pension, car allowance, etc.

Our client is seeking to hire a Business Development Manager to oversee a sales area covering Yorkshire, Humberside, and North Lincolnshire. They are looking for a generalist, new business, hard asset financier focusing on SME and SMB customers.

Your role involves identifying, prospecting, and winning new business – this can be direct or potentially dealer introduced but not broker driven.

As our client is part of a major prestigious group, you will have access to both own book funding and a large panel of funders, including tier 1 funders such as Lloyds & HSBC.

Typically, rates sold to customers range from 7-9%, with profit margins usually around 2.5% of the asset value.

An excellent pay plan offers 20% of the income you generate each quarter, with a threshold from quarter two onwards. Commission is paid back to zero once above the threshold.

Achieving your annual target entitles you to an additional 5% commission on your entire year's income at fiscal year-end.

This opportunity provides 80% of the benefits of being an Authorised Representative at a superbroker, without the risks of self-employment or setting up your own Ltd company, and without the drawbacks of no salary, paid holiday, benefits, or security.

Expected earnings within the sales team typically range from £120,000 to over £170,000 annually, with leading earners exceeding £300,000 in a year. This could be you in 3 years.

Candidate Profile

Please apply only if you meet the following criteria:

* You live within the sales area and can readily travel to major business hubs such as Leeds, Huddersfield, Halifax, York, Humberside, and the M62 corridor (exceptional individuals beyond these margins may still be considered).
* You have a successful sales background in direct asset finance sales within the SME and SMB sectors.
* You possess an existing customer base or warm contacts to leverage in a new asset finance sales role.
* You are a self-starter capable of working from home with minimal supervision.
* You have a strong desire for high, uncapped income and are willing to put in the hours needed to earn six figures plus.

You may currently work for a tier 1 bank asset financier and be tired of delivering large volumes for modest bonuses, or be a lease broker with low salary margins, or seeking to spend more time selling while avoiding FCA compliance issues, all while maintaining employment benefits and security.

Whatever your background, you will be a genuine new business developer and self-starter capable of building and maintaining customer relationships, effectively acting as the MD of your own sales area.
