We’re seeking a HR Business Partner, Vice President to provide generalist HR advisory across the EMEA Capital Markets (GCM) division as well as Professionals across IBD and GCM, reporting to the lead HRBP for IBD and GCM.
In the Human Resources division, we advise on attracting, retaining, rewarding, and developing a talented global workforce, providing employees with the support and tools they need to succeed. This is a Director level position within the HR Business Partners team.
The IBD/GCM team supports approximately 900 employees and currently comprises an Executive Director, a Director, and an Associate.
The role requires the ability to operate independently, proactively, and effectively across all HR disciplines, working with managers and colleagues at all levels across IBD and GCM. It offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with the business and participate in ad-hoc projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Relationship Management: Partner with GCM Group Heads to implement talent strategies, collaborate with the EMEA IBD/GCM team, and maintain relationships with internal HR colleagues.
* Employee Relations: Interpret and apply Morgan Stanley policies, manage redundancy processes with legal counsel, advise managers on employee issues, and handle performance, conduct, and compliance matters.
* Resourcing: Manage international relocations and collaborate with recruitment teams for hiring.
* Talent Management: Coach managers on performance feedback, oversee performance evaluations, and support leadership programs and diversity initiatives.
* Diversity & Inclusion: Promote attraction and development of diverse populations and lead D&I initiatives.
* Reward and Compensation: Support the Analyst Year-End compensation process, monitor market trends, and conduct audits.
Qualifications & Skills
* Minimum 6 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within financial or professional services or an international environment.
* Degree or equivalent qualification; CIPD preferred.
* Strong relationship management, analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
* Results-oriented with a logical approach to problem-solving and risk awareness.
