The Business Resilience department are looking for an Incident & Crisis Analyst to join our growing team in EUI Incident & Crisis Management. The Business Resilience department acts at the intersect of all resilience processes (incl. operational resilience, business continuity management, third-party risk management and incident management), bringing cohesion across the business to ensure the smooth running of our operations and important business services.

In this role, you will support and coordinate the continuous development, implementation, and embedding of EUI-wide incident and crisis management processes and standards, to enhance our response protocols. You will work diligently to assess the ongoing impact and severity of incidents against our important business services and ensuring compliance against key regulations. You will also use this data to provide valuable reporting to clearly demonstrate the impact to key business processes and customers, identify potential vulnerabilities, and highlight areas for improvement.

You will work closely with a broad range of stakeholders, including target business areas, IT, Risk, and Cyber, to analyse incident data and support with strategic decision-making and informing critical process changes.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead incident investigations to assess impact on our customers and important business services.
* Support in the delivery of the EUI Incident & Crisis Management framework, ensuring that it is embedded across the organisation.
* Engaging and collaborating with stakeholders across Admiral, including key business areas, Risk, and Cyber to gather necessary data and coordinating relevant response activities.
* Identifying potential vulnerabilities and improvement opportunities for how we respond to incidents and crises across the organisation.
* Support with the running and continuous development of the Incident Management Working Group, including producing meeting packs and minutes.
* Support with lessons learned activities, documenting key output to help improve our incident response efforts across the business.
* Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on business mitigation activities, risk controls, root cause analysis, and resolution.
* Engaging with the relevant teams affected or assisting with resolution during an incident.
* Familiarity with incident management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Fusion etc.).
* Act as an advocate for the Incident & Crisis Management team, ensuring processes and standards are embedded across the organisation.
* Working closely with the wider Business Resilience department to align processes and remediation.
* Adhering to internal policies and following our incident management framework in a consistent manner.

In addition to the above core responsibilities, you will be expected to assist the team in delivering against our wider objectives including management support, as necessary.

Essential Skills and Experience

* Solutions-focused, especially when dealing with challenges.
* Able to engage with multiple business areas, with good communication skills.
* Awareness and understanding of incident and crisis management methodologies and frameworks.
* Strong analytical skills, ability to produce MI and reports, to present findings.
* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully engage and influence a broad range of stakeholders. across the businesses.
* Excellent communication skills to create and deliver clear and concise reports.
* Methodical with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy when producing work.
* Excellent multitasking and organisation skills.
* The ability to work as a team member as well as being able to work under own initiative.
* Ability to build positive relationships and effectively influence, advise, and support people throughout the organisation.

Desirable Skills and Experience

* Experience in incident and/or crisis management.
* Understanding of governance frameworks, risk, and compliance.
* Experience in the Financial Services regulatory environment.
* Able to effectively facilitate and lead meetings/workshops (e.g. working groups, incident reviews, and lessons learned).
* Experience of Third-Party Risk Management.
* Experience in developing and establishing new processes and procedures.
* Awareness and understanding of IT and Cyber concepts.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment with competing priorities.
* Inside knowledge of Admiral, its departments, processes, and the risk environment.
* Practical use of incident management tools (e.g. ServiceNow, Jira, Fusion).
