Spanish Teacher – Manchester – January 2026 Start
Location: Manchester
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Part-time (3 days per week) covering maternity
Pay: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Spanish Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Manchester from January 2026. This role is part-time (3 days per week) to cover a maternity leave for around a year.
About the role:
1. Teach Spanish across KS3 and KS4
2. Support GCSE preparation and outcomes
3. Work within a supportive MFL department
4. Inspire students to develop a love of languages
The ideal candidate will have:
5. QTS/QTLS (or equivalent overseas qualification recognised in the UK)
6. Experience teaching Spanish at KS3 and KS4
7. A strong classroom presence and enthusiasm for languages
8. Up-to-date safeguarding training (or willingness to complete free training)
