Hours of work: 6 hours per week
Rate of pay £12.60 per hour
A personal assistant is required to support a young man on the autistic spectrum with socialisation at home and in the community
As PA you will play an important part supporting your employer to access the community, social interactions and personal interests.
Weather permitting you will accompany the young man on walks, picnics and other outdoor activities.
At other times you will be supporting with activities in the home.
You will also assist the young man to discover new and engaging activities and interests. A knowledge of the local community and events would be beneficial. Supporting and accompanying them to access these.
Typically shifts will be arranged for mornings or afternoons and mutually agreed in advance
