I am a lady in my early 50s, young at heart, with interests in health and fitness, including walking, gym, swimming, and cycling. I enjoy cooking healthy food, visiting historical places and nature reserves under the National Trust, and engaging in mindfulness activities and courses. I also enjoy visiting places like the clothes exchange in Leeds.
About the role:
The role requires an adaptable and flexible approach, as support needs may vary day to day. It is focused on doing activities together; I do not require a carer or someone to do things for me.
About You:
You should be calm, encouraging, and able to read situations where I might feel overwhelmed. You should be able to break down tasks into simple instructions and have an understanding of how autism affects girls/women, or be willing to learn. Good communication skills are essential. An interest in health and fitness, outdoor activities like cycling or horse riding, is desirable.
