Own IT strategy and operations over a focused 6‑month engagement. Assess the business, build a realistic plan, mobilise delivery across critical projects, and hand over a clear roadmap.

You’ll rapidly understand the landscape, prioritise ruthlessly, execute through vendors and in‑house teams, and exit cleanly with the organization set up for success.
THE ENGAGEMENT
* Understand business problems through senior stakeholder engagement
* Identify themes across IT, business, and vendor landscape
* Develop roadmap, budgets, and investment cases
* Present to CFO; secure buy‑in and mobilise
Months 2-6: Execution & Transition
* Oversee the delivery of critical projects (office move, infrastructure/security, SharePoint review, AI adoption)
* Assess vendors and MSPs
* Hand over clear roadmap and improved environment
Must have:
* 15+ years IT leadership in financial services or regulated environment
* Broad technical depth across infrastructure, security, SaaS, vendor management
* Strong stakeholder management — can gain buy‑in across organisation
* Independent operator — comfortable working autonomously
* Pragmatic mindset — balances strategic thinking with practical execution
* Must have senior gravitas, command respect, credible in board meetings and influence without authority
* Strategic at setting roadmaps and a strong track record of working with MSP’s and strategic partners in a small/medium sized user base
