Job Overview
We are seeking a Personal Assistant to work for the Executive Support Group at the University of Leicester to support one or more senior University leaders.
Within this role, you will be expected to use your initiative and independent judgement to fulfil a wide range of support functions, including management of diaries, emails and correspondence, minute taking and committee servicing, as required.
Responsibilities
- Manage diaries, emails and correspondence for senior leaders.
- Take minutes and service committee meetings.
- Resolve issues to ensure efficient, high‑level customer service at all times.
- Identify information gaps and provide relevant recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Adapt and improve current working practices to enhance office efficiency.
- Arrange and facilitate external engagements.
- Provide confidential support and maintain professional performance standards.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and deliver excellent personal assistant support.
- Strong initiative and judgement in resolving issues independently.
- Proficiency in email and diary management, and maintaining systems and processes.
- Effective communication skills to work with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Professional conduct suitable for representing senior University staff.
