Role: Maintenance Engineer
Salary: up to £55,000 (+overtime)
Location: Gloucestershire
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Day Shifts

The Company
A well-established and reputable business with over 40 years of operation, featuring state-of-the-art machinery and automation. Recognized as a market leader within their industry, the company is experiencing significant growth and has a healthy order book and turnover. They are expanding their Maintenance Team and offer excellent training opportunities, including OEM-site training and collaborations with local colleges for Mechanical, Electrical, and Health & Safety training.

The Role
Your daily responsibilities will include:
1. Working as part of a team to perform planned and reactive maintenance on site equipment and machinery.
2. Maintaining and repairing state-of-the-art equipment, including working on Three Phase Motors, panels with sensors, relays, contactors, inverters, fuses, power supplies, breakers, and switches.
3. Reading electrical schematics and using test equipment such as multi-meters for fault finding.
4. Mechanical work such as replacing worn parts on conveyors, gearboxes, shafts, belts, and working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
5. Swapping electrical and mechanical components and handling strip and rebuild projects.
6. Utilizing latest technology and CMMS systems for PPM and reactive work management.
The Person
To succeed, you should have:
* A recognized engineering qualification.
* Maintenance experience in an industrial environment such as FMCG, manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or warehousing.
* Electrical or mechanical fault-finding skills, with root cause analysis experience.
* PLC or controls experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Alternatively, military engineering backgrounds (Navy, Army, RAF) with relevant qualifications are also suitable.
* Ability to work well within a team and support colleagues during shifts.
