We are currently working on behalf of a social housing provider to recruit for a Security and Engineering Manager on an interim basis. You will oversee all engineering and security installations, repairs and maintenance for their properties.
Responsibilities of the Security & Engineering Manager:
* Managing the security systems engineers and subcontractors
* Acting as lead maintenance manager for BAFE SP203-1
* Keeping up to date records on all work undertaken for the management of security, fire and access systems
* Ensuring prompt payments of services
* Ensuring all H&S requirements are met
* Producing regular reports
* Carrying out regular site audits
* Carrying out team meetings and toolbox talks
Essential criteria of the Security & Engineering Manager:
1. Experience and knowledge of intruder, fire and door access security systems
2. Experience of managing several workstreams / security engineering projects
3. UK Driving license
4. Knowledge, experience and understanding of the maintenance of non-domestic Fire Detection and Fire Alarm Systems.
